Doug Wilson - Doug is a volunteer and is an incredible support to the way the group runs. He has developed over time into a wonderful supportive mentor for the community media crew. He supports the direction and improvisation sessions with confidence and provides invaluable support for the non-verbal group members. He is prepared for anything and very organised ensuring the day runs smoothly. Doug has acted in ‘Priceless’ and ‘Charlie’s Crew’ and has a lead role in the latest film in production ‘Does God Know?’ Doug is affectionately referred to as Doug Wilson – ‘Man Of The People’.
Stephanie Bishop – Stephanie is a professional actor with Agent Atius Management. Steph has worked as an Acting Coach and she was one of the Producers of feature films ‘Daddyfox’ and ‘Derek’. Having a drama school for children for 15 years and making many short films and staging dozens of plays, Stephanie is an ideal person to work with on Community Media Crew media projects. Stephanie landed her dream job working with Director Ken Loach playing the lead female in ‘Looking for Eric’ and has an extensive credit list of television and commercial credits including 'Coronation Street' and 'Emmerdale'.
John McCormack – John’s passion for working behind the camera switched 6 years ago and is now Acting with regular auditions for parts, thanks to his Agent Atius Management John secured a role in NETFLIX ‘The Crown’. You can view John's Acting website here. John is the Founder and Director of the Community Media Crew and since 2015 he has run acting workshops with Neuro-Diverse Adult Actors with Mixed Abilities. Working as a Writer, Producer and Director, John has produced feature films ‘Charlie’s Crew’, ‘Priceless’ and is currently in production on ‘Does God Know?’ Johns passion is to see more actors with a mixed ability in Films and TV. His previous work includes feature films ‘The Van Boys’, ‘Daddyfox’, ‘Derek’ and more than 300 shorts, commercials, documentaries and community films www.mccormackfims.co.uk
Jena Elliot – Jena is a volunteer and has been a huge support to the group. She is always there with a listening ear for the members to have a chat. Jena has become involved with Acting too and is a great Actor. Nothing phases Jena and it is a joy to have her attending the group to give her valuable time. Jena has a warm, caring personality which is why the members find her so easy to chat with and feel comfortable asking her for help when needed.
Kevin Camm – Kevin was a member of the Team and decided he was going to retire, but we have yet to see a day where he does not come in to the group a give his time as a volunteer. Kevin is an immense support and can turn his hand to any given situation whether that be acting, ensuring the group always have there hot drinks or he might be setting technical equipment up for camera workshops. He has a calming personality and nothing is too much trouble. Kevin is in the new feature film in production called ‘Does God Know?’. Kevin is a great naturalistic performer!
Without the invaluable support of these incredible volunteers, the group would not be able to run like clockwork. Thank you for the time, energy and kindness you devote to everybody in the TEAM.
